Nina Woodfield, LM, CPM
Nina’s journey into birth work truly began during her first pregnancy in 2016. Choosing midwifery care, she gave birth naturally at a local birth center—a transformative experience that awakened her to the profound strength of the female body. Inspired by this, she became a certified birth doula through DONA International and began supporting first-time mothers as an on-call doula at the same center.
As her experience grew, Nina and her family moved to the Tampa area, where she continued to support families as a doula and childbirth educator at another local birth center. She also welcomed her son through a peaceful homebirth, which further deepened her commitment to the birth community. After three years, the family returned to Southwest Florida, where her passion for birth work continued to thrive.
Eager to expand her skills, Nina trained alongside two local midwives, assisting at births while pursuing her dream of becoming a midwife. In October 2024, she graduated from the International Institute of Health Care Professionals with her midwifery certification. She also holds certifications in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
Today, Nina is dedicated to walking alongside families through the powerful journey of childbirth. Her work is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and a deep respect for each family's unique birthing experience.
